Webtours eyes top travel accolade

The Webtours team has done it again! For the fifth consecutive year the company’s Beachtravel business is in the running for a place in the Beachcomber Top 10 Premier Awards.

The awards recognize the top 10 travel agencies in South Africa and are based on bookings made for leisure clients for honeymoons, small weddings and families. 

“As the only independently owned agency, it is indeed a feather in our cap and we thank our repeat clients for their continued support,” says Webtours chief executive Edwina Fletcher. 

“When it comes to Mauritius and the Seychelles, we are passionate about partnering with the top hotel group in the Indian Oceans Island and are the experts when it comes to making people’s dreams come true,” says Fletcher.

Despite the tough economic times, Fletcher says Webtours’ success is based on repeat business and referrals due to its focus on service excellence and passion.

“I love dealing with the clients and I believe in the products we sell. I love to discover new places and find new things that will exceed my clients’ expectations,” says Fletcher. “Travel is a very personal thing – a part of you travels with your clients wherever they travel. You want their experience to be everything and more.”

Webtours is the only travel agency in KwaZulu-Natal to qualify for the award for the past five years.

The finalists receive an all-expenses trip to Mauritius or the Seychelles. The final placings are kept a secret and will only be announced at the awards dinner in November.
