Available to kids aged 3 to 12, Shandrani’s kid’s club is housed in a Creole-style pavilion set in the tropical gardens.The interiors consist of a large room divided into smaller activity corners. Singing, dancing, drawing, painting and making collages are some of the many activities planned for children who enrol at the club.
Shandrani’s kid’s club has its own private garden, fenced for enhanced security and privacy. It features a swing and jungle gym set in the shade of an ancient tree. In this convivial environment, the friendly staff members have many surprises up their sleeves to keep kids happy.

The all-inclusive packages at the four 4-star resorts are fully interchangeable – a first on the island! Victoria and Shandrani guests enjoy their respective inclusions at their resort; in all other instances, the inclusions of the property the guests are visiting would apply (excluding Shandrani’s premium option).
Clients will be entitled to the “Beachcomber All-Inclusive Package” from the time of arrival until the time of departure, regardless of the official check-in and check-out times.

Accommodation
All Shandrani rooms face the sea and what’s more, the resort is surrounded by a vast tropical garden, dotted with resplendent, ancient trees. Delicately sculptured wood finishing adds exceptional style to each room, while tranquil shades have been carefully selected to complete the look.
Tropical Rooms (Upper and Ground Floor)
These rooms hug the coastline of the peninsula Shandrani Beachcomber is located on and consist of a split-level room with a semi-private en-suite bathroom on a raised platform behind the bedroom. The bedroom consists of the sleeping area and day-bed adjacent to a writing desk. The bathroom has shuttered doors allowing a view when open and consists of a bath separate to the shower, double basins and a separate toilet.
Deluxe Rooms (Upper and Ground Floor)
Located in the quieter area of the resort towards the tip of the peninsula, these well-proportioned rooms offer a sitting area in the bedroom with an en-suite bathroom consisting of a bath, separate shower, double basins, walk-in wardrobe and a separate toilet. There is a balcony/terrace area for relaxing. Neither Deluxe category interleads.
Two-Bedroom Family Apartments (First Floor) & Two-Bedroom Family Apartments (Ground Floor)
Located in the quieter area of the resort, these family units measure a total of 75 square metres and consist of a Deluxe room for the parents with an additional room for the children with their own en-suite bathroom consisting of a shower, toilet and basin. The parents’ Deluxe room offers a sitting area in the bedroom with an en-suite bathroom consisting of a bath, separate shower, double basins, walk-in wardrobe and a separate toilet. A balcony or terrace offers additional room for relaxing
Located in the quieter area of the resort on the first floor only, these family units are made up of two inter leading Deluxe rooms and measure a total of 120 square metres. The Deluxe rooms are well proportioned – each room offers a sitting area in the bedroom with an en-suite bathroom consisting of a bath, separate shower, double basins, walk-in wardrobe and separate toilet. Each room offers a balcony for relaxing
Senior Suites
Located on the peninsula with direct beach access from the terrace, these suites are designed for optimum comfort and romance. The open-plan layout of the bathroom and bedroom creates a comfortable environment for relaxing with a circular bath behind the large double bed, all positioned for the best views of the sea beyond the glass terrace doors. The adjacent lounge offers a sitting area with flat screen TV and DVD player with a writing desk. The total area measures 110 square metres.

Shandrani Beachcomber Resort & Spa offers a great sense of freedom to guests with unlimited access to most of the hotel’s services and facilities.
The sports centre is located in the heart of the gardens, not far from the tennis courts. Guests will enjoy the modern sports facilities and activities on offer. Professional instructors and supervisors are on site to guide guests and are also available for individual or group classes for the activity of your choice.

Dear Desire, Thank you for your email and for all your assistance in booking the trip. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Shandrani Beachcomber. The food was invariably of a high standard and we made the most of the watersports with daily snorkelling and kayaking excursions. The room facilities were also excellent, and although Wi-Fi coverage was spotty throughout the resort it was very good in our rooms. We would certainly recommend both the resort and your services to any friends or family planning a trip to Mauritius.

Shandrani was incredible. So much so, we revisited for our babymoon a year later. With all sorts of activities to choose from, both land and water sports and evening entertainment, it’s the ideal choice for us. Blessed with beautiful beaches and clear turquoise waters, we enjoyed great tours and snorkelling at the Blue Bay Marine Park. The Beachcomber Shandrani offers special perks for honeymooners which was an added highlight for our trip. We chose the all-inclusive option and had a good variety of dining options (the buffet was awesome) as well as lots of cocktails. The staff were very friendly and efficient making our trip even more enjoyable and memorable.

We have stayed at Beachcomber Shandrani twice (for our honeymoon and babymoon). The Shandrani sits on a private peninsula with three beaches, offering seclusion and a variety of scenery and something for everyone! We loved the activities and sports they have there (golf course, tennis courts, gym, variety of water sports and many more). Our room had the most gorgeous views of the ocean and the choice of restaurants was amazing. We also spent time lazing in one of the small lagoon areas with cocktails in hand and the all-inclusive option was the way to go. Honeymooners also get to choose a special treat from their Beautiful Experiences menu which is a fabulous experience. If you are an active couple that likes doing things on their vacation this place is great! Cant wait for our third trip back there!

Picture perfect water and environment. Stunning surroundings and fantastic stay. We enjoyed our time there tremendously and definitely made the most of it all. Spent a lot time in their designated swimming zones in front of their main pool. Great restaurants and plenty to choose from.
Check in to the hotel? Oh what a breeze that was. No complaints there whatsoever. Easy, fast, fun and very warm welcoming.
Sea facing Room are simple and cozy. Just perfect for your night stays as the intention definitely is not to be in them during the day. We were very pleased to have received a bottle of champagne and personalized note from the hotel congratulating us on our wedding and to thank us for choosing them for our honeymoon destination.
Breakfast was always a winner. Your basic staples there but super tasty and enough to kick the day off.
A definite restaurant to eat at is the “Teak Elephant” was our favorite by far, we even had ourselves a double reservation.
We snorkled everyday via the hotels snorkel activities and it was definitely not a let down. Was so much fun. Glass bottom boat tour was a real highlight for us as well. Loads of water activities to do, however I was SUPER disappointed when I was told that they no longer do lasers sail boats.
All in all, it was a great experience. Definitely a once in a lifetime type of experience for sure.
