Teens/Kids Club at Mauricia Beachcomber Resort & Spa
There are a number of factors that make some hotels more child friendly than others and I found that Mauricia was the perfect fit for my twin girls aged 5. They loved the intimacy of the kids club and activities that took place on the small secluded beach in the rock pools. The fact that they could bounce back between the pool and the beach was a huge plus factor and so enjoyed going out on the pedaloes with mom and dad pedalling between the yachts and watching the skiers and other water sports activities!
Reserved or kids aged 3 to 12, Mauricia’s kid’s club is housed in a cosy venue located a few metres away from the beach.
The hotel has sought to bring back to life some elements of Mauritian lifestyle from the past. The kids club has a spacious terrace fitted with miniature rattan armchairs and loungers. The indoors recreate the atmosphere of traditional elementary Mauritian classrooms from a bygone era. Made-to-measure desks are allocated to each child and feature a lid which can be lifted to store their drawings and personal belongings.

With different restaurant atmospheres and settings, this ‘dine around’ culinary experience is an enticing option. Guests at Dinarobin Beachcomber, Paradis Beachcomber and Trou aux Biches Beachcomber may dine at all four of the Beachcomber 4-star properties at no supplement (dining at Royal Palm Beachcomber is at a supplement). Our 4-star guests may also dine at any of our 5-star resorts, at a supplement. Royal Palm Beachcomber guests may dine on a complimentary basis at any of the Beachcomber resorts. Dress code
Daytime: Casual. As a courtesy, guests are requested to please wear a garment over their swimwear in the restaurants, reception and lobby.
Evening: Smart Casual. Smart shorts and casual shoes are accepted; however, swimwear and beachwear are not allowed in the restaurants, bars, reception and lobby.
Trousers for the gentlemen are compulsory when dining at Le Nautic à la carte restaurant.

Thank you so much for arranging our fantasy Honeymoon. It was a magical experience and we really enjoyed ourselves.
From the very beginning we were really impressed and had no issues with the flights and transfers.
The resort was amazing. The service and pleasant staff really went out of there way to make our stay comfortable. The facilities at the resort were really amazing and the food was out of this world. I would recommend the resort to any person deciding to make the journey to Mauritius.
I would highly recommend the visitation of the Shiva temple in the south and the Catamaran to ile aux Cerfs
I really would like to extend my gratitude to you Polly and the Webtours team for arranging the package with no hassle and fuss at all. It was really a pleasure working with you and for always being available to guide and put forth our requests with minimal ease.

Just some feedback from our Mauritius trip.
We had a very good time and really enjoyed our stay.
ROOMS:
We were initially put in room 444. The room was clean and had a view of the swimming area and also some palm trees. It was one of the older rooms in the resort, but nothing wrong with the room. We then got upgraded to room 205, with a seaview. This room was more modern and a bit quieter than 444. The mini-fridge was stocked up every day with beer, cooldrink, peanuts and chocolate.
FOOD:
The food in general was very good and there were lots to choose from. They have the buffet restaurant, Le Nautic (a la carte) and the bar. Unfortunately Le Nautic was always closed for lunch. Suppers at Le Nautic were good, but the menu didnt change, so we preferred to have supper at the buffet section. They have different themes every night and we really enjoyed this. There were too many food options to mention in the email, but safe to say – THERE WERE LOTS to keep you busy. All inclusive wines also only meant 2 wines, but this was good enough as there were plenty of other drinks to choose from. Cocktails are extremely sweet and the taste differs depending on who pours.
SERVICE:
The service all round was great. The people were friendly and professional and really went the extra mile to serve us. The big positive I think is the service and the fact that its close to Grand Baie, for those that want to visit and experience a bit of the “city” and culture. Food stalls were also nice to try.
We really enjoyed our stay at Mauricia, but would probably try another resort next time, just because there are so many to choose from.
